ProtoOrganizer Design Doc

Ignore this heading image, obviously not our game, just testing the image. :P

Organize, collectathon, casual style game.

Game name ProtoOrganizer is the code name until a name is picked out. Then rename Notion page, Obsidian vault, Unity project, etc.

Had AI build a couple pages for reference on how to build this page. Check Portion Shelf Organizer page and Potion Shelf Stocker page for ideas on how to build this page.

Something to keep in mind. How can we leave the game open ended in story for there to be a second game of the same or possibly different genre.

Features

First person view Multiplayer with friend slop style characters, check assets page Sorting mechanics Steam achievements

Mechanics

Are game mechanics same as game features, I should google that? Break the sections up or just leave this empty? Are game mechanics more specific than a feature?

Story

I don't know yet.

Cyberpunk? Medieval? Current time?

Ghosts?

Why are things disorganized? What are we sorting?

Ideas

Write down a bunch then pick one and fill in Features, Mechanics and Story above.

Brandi's ghost concept game.

Instead of cleanup, disorganize, stack books in weird places, don't get caught.

Trading Card Game Store

What about a trading card shop clean up where the cards have cool fx shaders.

Store was ransacked by someone looking for one card. Did they get it? Clean up the store and find out if your prize card is still there. Put cards back on shelves for money. Add and swap cards to your limited personal collection (separate from clean up inventory).

Cards in your personal collection give abilities, card from perkamen or narrow toe or magic the dispersing gives speed up or carry more or stop time abilities. Use the money to buy tokens that can be applied to a card in your personal collection to upgrade that ability more!

Multiplayer, trade cards in personal collection with friends. Who's going to have the highest value collection and biggest cash pile at the end?

Abilities: Slow time, speed up movement, increase inventory size, really just look up cards from any trading card game and add some of those effects to the game. Some require cool down.
